Prayers are needed for my brother

I just talked to my brother, he has recieved a diagnosis of Lymphoma and will be starting treatment soon. He will be having a biopsy done on Tuesday and then we'll know a little more. I just feel so bad that I don't live in the same town as they do and with the gas prices so high I don't know how often I'll be able to visit. It will be a tough time for my Dad as my brother lives with him and doesn't drive. My Dad was a great nurse for my mother but at 87 I don't know how well he'll do now. Jeanne

Oh Jeanne, I'm so sorry about this diagnosis but lots more people survive it now then a few years back, you got it I'll add him to my prayers! What's his name and what area does he live in? We are dealing with similar stuff but it's our daughter in law and she is in Colorado with ovarian ca. It's tough when your so far away..Lots of hugs to you and your Brother and your dad too. -Sara

Thanks Sara, My brother's name is Rob and they live in Grandville. I know it's tough and ovarian CA is not an easy diagnosis either. If they were here I'd know where to send him because I actually work closely with the doctors at Karamanos. Jeanne

Jeanne, I will put your brother on my prayer list. There is lots of hope on this one though. One of the guys at work was diagnosed with lymphoma. He had some surgery and then chemo and is doing 100% today. No signs of the lymphoma.
