Hi Everyone, I finally gotten off my plateau; wooo hooo. I am now down a total of 70 lbs. since Dec. of 06. Had my Lap RNY in early Feb.; I lost 27 before my surgery; and 43 since my surgery. I feel like I am a very slow loser! I have hit a lot of slow and stagnate times on my weight loss journey. Anyone else slow losers as well? I guess as long as I keep on losing that is what is best. I can really see it in my clothes and things; but I don't truly see it in the mirror! When people compliment me or ask how I did it I get very uncomfortable. I have let only a few select people know I had WLS; I feel many are to judgemental or jealous. I am finding that I am dealing with a lot of different reactions and feelings. I weigh 219 right now, and I want to get down below 200 before this summer is over!!! My hubby has been having his own worries about my weight loss; but he is still very supportive. I still have thoughts about all the foods that I have given up. It is more than just a weight loss journey! I am wishing everyone the best; even more to all you newbie's... I have had a lot of WOW moments; even my skinny jeans are getting baggy. LOL I have went from a size 24 to a size 16 or so. It feels great. I am exercising now more than I ever have. Best Wishes to everyone. Sincerely, Judy R.

Congrats on your loss so far. You are doing great. you cant compare yourself to anyone else, we all lose at our bodies pace. As long as you are following your recommended eating, you will continue to lose. It is amazing how our bodies change, i have people telling me i am getting too "skinny"!!lol, that is a riot. I have never been referred to as skinny. I have about 11 lbs to where i want to be, not sure i can meet the dr levels, that would be very thin for me, we will see. keep up the good work and enjoy your new self! teri
