6 Months and Pictures!

Yesterday was my 6 month surgiversary!!! Hard to believe it has been half a year already!!! I am well on my way to making it to my goal by one year out. I am at 199 and have lost 110 pounds since the beginning of my journey (91 since surgery). I am feeling great. All my labs came back fine except for my vitamin A. So I am now on additional vitamin A. No biggy though, I can take that when I take my multi's. I have started a new business since I am feeling so great and have energy. I am now selling "Tastefully Simple". Kind of hard to do when I can't eat a lot of it, but all things in moderation I guess. I have tried most of the stuff and it is all sinful, but I don't indulge myself. I am doing my best to restrain myself and remind myself that I am in a business now to make money, not to eat my way back to the person I was before. I have my first party this Sunday and I am so excited to go and show off my weight loss success and my new business success!!!! Be sure to go to my profile and check out my latest picture. I did a before and after picture so that it is easier to compare without going from the front to the back of the photo album. I still can't believe that I was once that person in my pre-op pictures. It just doesn't seem possible. I knew I was fat, but I never realized just how big I was. Pictures certainly don't lie. Thanks for all support and guidance during the past 6 months. Shawn M.

Thanks Stacey!!! My kids are amazed by the pictures and they call me skinny now... it is so amazing.. I am still not skinny by any means.. but I am a fraction of what I used to be and I am so proud of where I am now... Thanks again!!! Shawn M.
