Immune System

Has anyone else had a problem with their immune system being low? About 5 weeks ago I got a cold and within 2 days I was in the emergency room with Bronchitis, Pharengitis, Sinusitis and Larengitis. They gave me anti-biotics and cough medicine and within a few days I was ok. Well 2 Tuesdays ago I came down with the same stuff and within 2 days I was back at the emergency room with Bronchitis. They gave me Claratin D and a Z-Pack, which; ran out this Tuesday. My Dr called in another prescription for Bactrim DS and I have been taking it since Tuesday evening and I am not getting any better. I feel horrible. I was told by a different Dr that because of surgery my immune system may be low but when I called the surgeon's office they said I should be fine. Well, I'm not fine. I am sick of being sick. I am going back to my PCP today for a full blood work up. Hopefully he can give me something to boost my immune system. Stacey B

I started giving my son Fruit 20 water. Meijer's sells a berry flavored "Immunity" kind. It is low calorie and it seems to be helping. He catches every cold and bug that comes around, so I started giving him the immunity yogurt. He hated the taste of that, but loves the flavored water. Since you have to drink anyway, maybe you should give it a try.

I am having the same problem...I got impetago....darn skin....I never had a problem with my skin. And now this is my first infection.......I am day 2 on antibotics...
