Wow moment....at least for me.
I am giving a wedding shower this weekend...so I decided to treat myself to a new outfit. And of course when you are looking for something..you can't find anything, but when you aren't looking, you find things. I wasn't having much luck...but then realized things still looked frumpy on me. Got discouraged but then said WAIT...you gotta buy something new...people at work are telling me my clothes are too big. Well...I was buying clothes in size 30-32 .......but today I tried on 22-24....and they fit!!!! OMG I couldn't believe it. So I bought a few things....some were comfort shirts...little baggy....but comfy...(I am used to that) Brought them home an said to my husband..if you don't like them..I can take them back. Well 3 of them he said were too big...so they went in the back pile. But the one I bought that was size 22-24....his eyes got big...and said ..THERE YA GO!!! I LIKE THAT! The other ones I said I could wash and they would shrink a little....he said...yeah but you are still shrinking too...lol So I wore the one my hubby liked to dinner with my sister and sister inlaws and nieces. A few I haven't seen since before surgery. They were so excited...one said OMG Aunt Debbie...look at you!!! Skinny mini..lol Needless to say it was a GREAT night..I felt so pretty. I need to get an updated picture to put on here. I Love those kind of nights....just gives me more drive to work harder at this. I am definitely checking into Curves this week.
On the downside of this though...(always a down side huh) I got a ticket on my way home....I am soooooooooooooo mad. The cop said I was at the light....and I just went thur it. AFTER I STOPPED! Why on God's green earth would I do that ??? I would never do that...never have done that and never will do that. But instead of writing a ticket for running red light he wrote it for blocking traffic....Well here is my theory. If i had really ran the red light...then why not write the ticket for running the red light.

Well I am so happy for you.....That is great that you are doing soo well and that you have a supportive husband. Well as for the ticket...you can always fight it....or try to...maybe since he said one thing and then gave you a ticket for something completly different you maybe able to get out of it...You should be so proud of yourself.....YOU GO GIRL...
Maybe the cop just wanted to flirt? Or it was the same one who nailed me for speeding, but not the others in the pack.
On the clothes. DON'T BUY BAGGY. You are not getting bigger, you are getting smaller. Deal with it. Accept it, hold up the stuff that really fits and try wrapping your mind around that being the new you, but that you will get smaller. Baggy will make you look fatter, which may be a comfort to you, but doesn't do you justice. This is where you have to believe that the surgery and your new eating habits will keep working.
