boy oh boy oh boy can I relate Sherry ! The liquids is the hardest part I swear ! and on top of it seeing all that food again !??!?! I feel for ya girl ! I know it's hard but stay strong. Some will be angry with me when I say this but if you want some cottage cheese try a little, a little ! It is next on your list and sometimes that little will help with those feelings. Also trying drinking more water, or adding something new. Perhaps a different type of sf popsicles or flavor of jello... (or fudgesicles -- thats what did it for me) and try draining the broth of veggie soup. And ya know what that hungry stage has passed ! You will find what works for you to get past it, trust me ! I am here for you if you need someone to talk to. or keep posting and we'll get you through it ! ~~Rona
Thanks Rona , I did talk w/ my dr nurse and she said like you said I can have soups, drained and a little cottge cheese wont hurt ..I havnt done it yet trying to get threw the 2 weeks and be as faithful as possible ...lol
I just cant wait to get to where I can try a few things see how I will feel .

I remember those days! Have you noticed how often they advertise those darn pizza hut and mcdonalds commercials? That killed me at the beginning. Maybe you can get someone else to do the fast food runs? You're mourning the loss of food right now and it's tough to get through. But as soon as you get past this stage everything will be better....just hang in there and be tough.
Linda
Sorry Sherry,
Yes, I remeber thoose days all to well too. As I still sometimes do! Take care of yourself. We are all on a daily journey. You know if people quit smoking they never have buy or smoke another cigarette; if you quit drinking you never have to buy or comsume it either. Unfortunatley it is not the same for food! And others in our lives can complicate things even more!! I still want the things I can not have. Carnie Wilson's book (Still Hungry) is a great one for letting us know we are all normal in this respect. Don't be so hard on yourself.. Bads days will come and go; but we will prevail! Hugssss to all , Sincerely, Judy R
I can remember having to go to a meeting at a restaurant. It seemed everyone was ordering french fries and I had my cream soup. Not fair. Those french fries smelled so good but I knew I didn't dare eat one (I was afraid of hurting my new little pouch). I just pulled my chair back about 2 feet and ate my soup, savoring each little bite knowing one day I could have a french fry if I wanted it. The first time I could actually eat a french fry, it sure didn't taste as good as I remembered (good thing!). Now the smell actually almost turns me off (another good thing). You'll be out of this phase soon and back on "real" food, just smaller portions. Just think about all the smaller clothes you'll be buying with the money you're saving in the meantime.
thanks everyone for understanding what am going threw , now today was a lot better
and I even went to a cook out and birthday party with dairy queen icecream cake !!!
but I handled it pertty good ...just seemed so weird not being able to join in and eat !! but like some of you said ..it will be worthit losing this weight and going to buy new clothes !!cant wait .
hugs to all sherry
