What a day!

It was so nice meeting some of you that attended the conference yesterday! I had a great time. What did I get from it? Just knowing that I'm not alone and knowing that some of my thoughts on life and just dealing with our everyday ups and downs is 'normal' and we 'will' get through it all. I was humbled by some of the conversations I shared with people. I felt good when I left. I felt 'refreshed'. Sure there was a lot of info that I already knew but there were things that were spoke of that I didn't know. There was a member that spoke about Group Leaders that I thought was interesting. It made me want to refocus on the group I belong to. Thank you OH for spending the day with us and I am so grateful to have met so many wonderful BEAUTIFUL LOSERS!!! Much LOVE and RESPECT!!! Mary, it was nice seeing you there. My hubby keeps talking about how much he enjoyed seeing everyone. He was especially impressed with the people who lost over 300 pounds. He says that if I had gone by myself and told him about their experiences, that he would have found it hard to believe. He really admires everyone who has gone through the surgery (no matter which type) and they way they've been able to change not only their lives but their lifestyly. I agree, there many BEAUTIFUL LOSERS and I hope to see many of you again some day.
