worried

Hello, I am a week out and am wondering if my pain is normal. I have a sharp pain where one of my incision is and it is pretty constant. I am still on pain meds. I hear about those who are up and running around. Should I be concerned? My doctor will not be in until the 31st so I won't see him until 2.5 weeks out. thanks.

does your sureon have a partner? do you have a fever? if it keeps up , I would see someone.......hug rae

You might want to give your surgeon's office a call. Most of them have an after hours number that you can call just in case. I don't know that I'd let this one wait, even if it's just for your own peace of mind.

Any pain is a concern and should be related to your surgeon immediately. I know this is and easy source of information but pain, fever and shortness of breath are concerns best left to professionals and not here on the message board. Please call your doctor now. Ahmed

thanks, I'm going to call him in the morning. How long were you on pain meds? Btw, no fever or discharge. my nurse said the incisions look good.
