I just had to share that I am going up to the UP this weekend to do some hiking and sight seeing and I am looking forward to being able to walk and stand around without being in pain and out of breath. I have not been to the up there since I was a little kid with my parents. I am excited to go back to the picture rocks and Lake superior. Tricia

OOOOOHHHHHH I am so envious! Crossing the Mighty Mac is so exhilerating! My son graduated from Mi Tech 2 years ago and so there went my "excuse" to drive up there. How far up are you going? All the way to the tip? It is such a gorgeous place up there and so many places to see. If you haven't all ready discovered this web sight check it out as it is chock full of UP history and info www.pasty.net (They sell UP pasties nationwide- Now that the son is in WY for grad school I have to to ship him some every now & then.) If for some reason the web sight is moderated out please e-mail directly and I will share the info with you. HAVE A BLAST!!!!
