out of state due to Father in law very ill

I know that I am more of a lurker here on the board but here is why for the present time. Had to make an emergency trip to Texas on Sat pm. left at 6:45 pm and rolled into Lubbock TX at 4:30 Sun afternoon. Father in law became ill on Sunday and is now at home on hospice and looks like he will not make it for another 24 hours. He hung on until we got there. He is now failing hourly. Hubby is very upset and am trying to give him support and keep him on track with his diet. He is 12 months out and has lost 110#. Am very proud of his success with his surgery. Thanks to all. Brenda, I'll keep your hubby and his father in my prayers. Remind him that he can eat the right things just as easily as the wrong things but he needs to make sure he gets his protein in. Maybe go out and get some protein bars & shakes and that will help. ps, tell him I'm proud of his 110 lb. loss too. Way to go.

Brenda, I am so sorry to hear about David's father. I am so glad you were able to travel done to be with him during his final days. Please update. I have not been to work yet this week. I will be there tonight.  Big hugs to you both.
