Tattoo?
My mom is 54 and she got her first one. but it is on her wrist...and she can cover it....If you truely want one I say wait a little while and see if you still want it..I have tattoo's myself and that was what I did....But you also need to check about if they can tattoo scar tissue....I am not sure ....but You never know also if the scar tissue will go down and not look so thick or raised...Well Let me know what you find out about the scar tissue......Take care
Hey Wendy, It is al;l up to you, your body baby. I will be 48 in August and have 2 tattoos . 1 I got when I was 18 the other when I was 46(ankle) And when I get these bat wings removed I will be getting 1 on my shoulder, I always wanted 1 there but arms were always to big. Tats on your lower back are called "tramp stamps". I hear so many jokes and rude comments when I'm out about women having stuff done on their lower backs. (I don't have one there, but I do have one on my ankle)
If it's going to make you happy, go for it.....but just go into it knowing that there are a LOT of people that think that particular location is a little bit WT.
I'm one of those people that will wear and do tacky things if they make me happy (like the pink furry flip flops I wear) but I am always aware that other people are not so enthusiastic about it.
