Doc said great!
Well, Went to my family doc today; he said I have lost 13 in five weeks since I seen him last! He also said (WOW, YOUR LOOKING LIKE A HOT CHICK)! We laughed about that. My hubby wanted to know why I was going out looking so nice to the doctors. LOL I have went from being super morbidely obese to just obese. BMI of over 50, down to about 38.. I was expecting a little more without all the plateau's I keep hitting. But I will take the progress I have made and rejoyce in it! I want to thank you all for your encouragement.. Updated my blog and profile as well, Sincerely, Judy R.
Hi Sherry,
Yes, I do go out! When I go out I am very careful; but I still enjoy things. I like apple bee's soup and shrimp spinach salad; I even go to Mc Donald's I get the grilled chicken wrap or yogart, or salad ect . You can still enjoy life!! I am down 72 now; 27 before surgery! I still think I have been a slower loser than a lot of others I have seen post here. How are you doing? My surgery was Feb 07.; my weight loss journey began in Dec. 06! I don't look at this at all like a diet anymore; but rather a lifestyle change! I have a whole new outlook and attitude toward food, and my realationships with it. I control it now instead of it controlling me. You can do it Sherry; you are already well on your way! In a day I eat: breckfast sm bowl of whole grain cereal or sometimes GNC grand slam protein drink, lunch cheeses or cottage cheese, lean lunch meat, some triscuts, dinner 3-4 oz. of meat or like meat protein, beans, cottage cheese, salad or sometimes a half of potatoe. At night I even snack with things that are good for me. I don't eat all this stuff at once; and I probably get around 1200 calories a day! I never thought that I could get this far; but I thank God, my hubby, my friends at OH.. Support is the all important thing! Good luck and best wishes to your own sucess.. Hugsss. Judy R
