As most of you know, i work outside.   From the last two days, i have gotten sunburn on my face.    Can anyone recommend a good sunblock that doesn't cost too much?  Believe it or not, i'm wishing for rain tomorrow! Hugs Linda

Just about any sunblock will do. They have to follow federal guidelines. I use a Mary Kay product because I get a substantial discount from a lady I work with. Take care of your skin. I have had three skin cancers removed this year from my face and my wife had a major surgery to remove one and a corrective to repair the hole left on her nose. She recommends at least a 15 but a 30 would be more right for you because of the amount of sun and your fair complexion. I'm a paleface, usually I add a hat but here are the two I use: Jergens Natural Glow Face Daily Moisturizer which is SPF 20 or Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer spf 15 with Parsol 1789. The trick is applying it about a half hour before you go out.  And with the Jergens, washing hands so the palms don't darken up. Neither of these were more than $8.00, and I generally shop at Walgreens, Meijer, etc. I just saw that several brands have added gel sunscreens to their product lines, higher spf numbers, sweatproof and waterproof.  I might try those this summer on the highly reflective bat wings.  I live near an airport and there have been complaints about the glare bothering the pilots.

You are hillarious Jane! Reflective bat wings..LOL LOL  Wanted to let you both know I was just in Big Lots last night and they had both the Jergens & Dove Light glow products for $4.00 so if you want to pinch those pennies even more (like me..) then that's the place to go. Patt
