I lost another 11 lbs ! that is a total of 25lbs since surgery ! WOO HOO  I am really happy with that number and can't wait to see more come off ! I feel great. Dr took me off restriction so I can start exercising now. Also started me on all my vitamins which I can't wait because I think they will help give me more energy that I need. Also moved me to Stage 3 foods.... so big question? Any stage 3 recipes out there? or ideas for different meals/food etc ? I want to keep things different so I don't get in a rut and fall off the wagon ! Hope everyone is doing well. ~~Rona 04/30/2007 Lap RNY Dr. Nizzi 237 pre-op/ 213 current/ 145 goal

Way to go Rona.  I don't know what your stage 3 foods are but I think mine was soft food like deli turkey, mashed potatoes, a little bit of ground chicken.  I was so glad to see that because I was so sick of soup.

Rona, you are doing great! I can't even remember what stage 3 was....I guess that goes to show you that after a year you will eat like a "normal" person again.  I made a gravy from 2T Smart Balance spread, 2T whole wheat flour, make a roux out of that, then whisked in 1 1/2 c low sodium chicken stock and a teaspoon poultry seasoning to make "gravy".  That was good to have a spoonful of on deli turkey.  It made it taste better and a little goes a long way.

WTG!!  Wow....25 pounds since surgery in 3 weeks. That is awesome. I know I didn't lose very fast....It turns out my thyroid wasn't working very well.....well not at all!! I am back on thyroid meds and it's starting to come off! I could kick myself for not taking them. But I was feeling very good, not tired at all and thought that with weight loss...thyroid would start working...NOT.  Keep up the good work!!
