HELP!!

I have been hurting in the upper parts of my stomach and now it is moving to the lower parts of my stomach....My primary dr said it is a colane problem...this started maybe a good year ago in the upper right hand part of the stomach below my breast...I had an ultrasound done on my gallbladder and it came out fine...so what should I do? I would request that they do another ultrasound....Or a cat scan....

Pain is a warning that you have a problem. You must have it looked into. Call your surgeon's office and have him diagnose it. The board is a good place for support but it is not for medical advice. Digestive problems can pop up on us quickly because of our turbo charged systems so what might be good today can quickly be a problem tomorrow. Have them do your labs and check you B vitamins too. But call your surgeon today. Ahmed

Hi Anita, Pain is nothing to mess around with. Call and get in to see your surgeon right now please. I ignored my pain until I just couldn't anymore. I went to an E.R.close to my home~big mistake! They told me it was my pancreas due to my heavy drinking! Now mind you I haden't had a drink in 10 years at that point (it's been longer now:). After 5 days with nothing to drink or eat I was told "There is nothing wrong with you, you can go home".  I went home. In the mean time a friend called my nutritionist, and my surgeon. By the time they got a hold of the hospital I was in I had been released. My surgeon called me, I sent him an E-mail. He wanted to see me A.S.A.P. To make a long story shorter, less than a week after being discharged by Garden City hospital, I was in my hospital having major surgery, due to a complication that nearly cost me my life!  I just can't say it strongly enough DON'T MESS AROUND ~IF YOU HAVE PERSISTANT PAIN SEE YOUR SURGEON NOT YOUR P.C.P.!!!! My surgeon told me "if you have pain between here and here"~he put one hand under his chest and the other at the top of the groin area~ "you come and see me, if it's anywhere else see your P.C.P". I really hope this helps and that you find out what is wrong. Pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong. God bless, Annette
