At this stage drinks are your best bet. I would suggest sticking to them. Try different ones and add things to them to make them more interesting but over time you develop a "who cares" attitude towards food. Remember you are eating to live. I eat on a schedule and it is always the same things. I could care less about taste or quantity or texture now. It is just fuel. Congrats on your loss. That is rater substantial. Think about it. Normals take months to lose that amount! You did it in two weeks! Ahmed

WTG Sherry!!!  Congrats on the 27 pounds.  I am sure you feel just wonderful about that.  I think at this stage your main source of protein still needs to be the supplements.  I am 6 months out and still rely on one or two a day.  I get past the taste and realize I HAVE to consume them to be healthy.  You will do just fine.  Good Luck and keep up the good work.

I am 2 weeks pre op and I do 2 protien shakes a day.  I was told that the more protien I get in now, the better my cells will heal after the surgery.    I worked with my GNC and found a couple I really really like.  I use the vanilla in the morning for breakfast with a scoup of Decaf coffee and its like having my morning latte from Starbucks.    Afternoon is generally chocolate or Unjury's strawberry with crystal lite lemonade for a Strawberry Sorbet tasting shake.   GNC was really good about giving me advise and sample of products to try.  I have several of the Isopure clear protien drinks stocked for my first week home.    They are not as sweet as some of the fruit flavored one. Best of Luck Keep up the good work Pam
