I'm Home!!!!!!!!
Well, I'm home.
Got home about 415pm today.
First, special thanks (BIG THANKS) TO my best friend: Shannon Banannon for the posts, the care, visits, friendship and kindness while I was in surgery and in my room. Thanks so much for being who you are
You are my biggest Fan!!!!!!
Special thanks to Carey Poisson for her visit (which is always a delight) and for her post on my well being and just her presence made me feel great.
Thanks so much Debbie Miers for being there for me in spirit, heart and soul. And for being the angel you are!
I survived another "DiNicking" LMAO .....and although the anesthesia was rough for me this time around, (I got the gas-and not the kind that comes out and is stinky!!!lol)....had a rough time being able to decide what to do. So as Shannon said, due to no script written, I had to stay the night.
I met Laura Allen from here, she was having a bit of a struggle but please please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
I also met and made friends with a woman from Timmins Ontario which is where I will be in 1 month for the wedding and also met another woman from Taylor who I'll now keep in touch with.
I tell you, Barix is a great place to meet new friends and acquire support teams. I spoke to these ladies a few times today before I was discharged and it was really invigorating to tell them my story and knowing their curiousity as they are just starting their journeys.
I thank all of you so much for your posts, words of kindness, encouragement and keeping my in your thoughts and prayers and positive vibes.
I have to mention that the lady I met from Timmins, was in pre -op with me having Lap RNY done by Dr. Poplawoski (sp?) and we spoke that morning (thurs am) upon arrival, until I left today. I really can't explain the term small world- knowing my family has great close friends who live in Timmins. Small world indeed.
I will be off wor****il next Tuesday, I have one JP drain tube (darnitall!!!!!!!I didn't bargain for that -- but whatever it takes!!!)
and I feel swollen and tender around the sides.
Hardest part of all this -- I brought in my 'garment' from my past TT, and he put it on me in surgery and now I have to wear it for at least 2 weeks in 80 degree weather ((((ack))))!!!
Thanks again for the kind words and support!!!

Thanks Shawn,
I'm doing good, the pain is minimal now, still burns a bit but ice packs seem to help ease that.
He took off about 1 pound, but due to swelling, I've gained 8 lbs!!!
I'm sure once the swelling goes down I'll be back to my previous weight.
Thanks a lot for caring and your offer to stay @ your house.
