Self Pay

Hello new friends1  Cingrats in all of your accomplishments1  You all are looking great! Question for you.......were any of you self pay?  If you don't mind me asking, do you know what the suregeon and the anesthesia cost?  the hospital is going to be about 30000, but have not found out the other costs yet and since this is being paid all out of my pocket, I need to plan.  My insurance sucks and will not pay for any of it but I want to do it anyway ASAP. I have my surgeon consult on Wednesday and hope to have the surgery within the next month or so since I don't have to wait on approvals, etc.  I know that Borgess Hospital is cheaper than Bronson, but don't know how much.  Did anyone have it done there? thanks in advance for any info you have and I hope to get to be cyber friends ith all of you soon!

I was a self pay. Went to Brazil and had the DS. Total cost including air fare, 2 weeks at hotel post-op, private nurse, passpost & visa and more was under $10,000 and I met the most wonderful doctor I have ever known.. So do your research and don't let the idea of leaving the country frighten you.
