4 weeks and stall ?
HI all ! Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend ! We went camping and it was so nice. But today I am 4 weeks out, got on the scale when we got home and I am still the same for the past week now !?!?! What is going on ? Can I stall already ? I dont' get it ? My calories haven't changed, added my vitamins. I have tried some more solid foods (stage 3) but had trouble with a couple and they got stuck. Boy oh boy talk about pain ! I now know that eggs just don't do well with me ! I am just so disappointed. I didn't expect anything big, but atleast a pound or two would have been nice. So any suggestions? Words of wisdom ? THANKS ! ~~Rona
YOUR BODY JUST HAD MAJOR SURGERY RONA...ITS TRYING TO CATCH UP TO THE BIG LOSS YOU HAVE ALREADY HAD. YOU WILL HAVE STALLS THIS EARLY OUT AND SOON IT WILL STOP AND YOU WILL LOSE AGAIN!! THEN STALL AGAIN I AM SURE...ITS HOW I HAVE BEEN EVER SINCE I HAD MY WLS AND I AM NOW DOWN 104 POUNDS. SO DON'T GET DISCOURAGED IT WILL COME OFF AGAIN SOON!!!!

Rona-i did these stalls to.......alot of time during the stall you are actually going down inches...it is like magig........dont lose your motivation. the stalls have a purpose to let your body catch up to itself....so just ride it out....keep doing the great stuff you are doing......sometimes if you can really hit the protein a bit harder it will jump start you.......and watch the bad carbs---they can really slow stuff up......you also might want to vary your exercising........specifically doing walking with interspersed bursts of speed for 30 secs and then returning to your regular rate........you will start losing again..........but remember--stalls are to be expected --it is a good thing--means your body is tryuing to take care of itself...this has been a big assault--surgery, decreased intake, weird absortion, exercising! so just keep on keepin on!!!!!!!! hug rae
