I keep a small bag of Russell Stover sugar free chocolate for those times when I just have a craving and nothing else will take care of it. One piece is enough to satisfy the craving without giving me too much fat or calories (or the runs).

I've found I CRAVE CRAVE CRAVE chocolate the same time every month. I've decided it's hormonal. Meijer's brand sugar free non fat fudge bars are a life saver for me. No sugar alcohols to bother my stomach, no fat, and 30 calories per bar. Also, Atkins Advantage bars work well for me. Double chocolate crunch is sooooo good. Half of one usually satisfies the cravings. Sometimes I know it's a mental thing because when I get super overwhelmed I start to crave it. Those times I reach for the chocolate as well. Be careful with the sugar free chocolate candies though...I've found they cause me great gastric distress as well as everyone else in the house who must withstand the foul odor.

my personal choc cure all is the atkins doubel chocolate crunch caramel protein bars, i get them at walmart. they usually keep me under control along with the fear of the dump, lol. there are a lot of chocolate protein bars out there, just have to go by trial and error to find the ones you really like! good luck, teri
Take this piece of advice from someone who has been there.
1 SMALL and I mean SMALL piece of chocolate is not going to kill you. It's not going to make you gain a bunch of weight, it's not going to slow your weight loss down. My surgeon actually told me to eat a good piece of dark chocolate every once in a while.
I'm telling you though it's way too soon for you to eat it. You can try it, but you'll probably get sick. For me, the sugar free stuff makes me violently ill. So I don't even go there.
When I get a chocolate craving, I eat a little chocolate. The only thing that depriving myself that piece of chocolate would do is make me want it more. I don't sit there and gorge myself on it and I don't eat it all the time. It's a treat.
I made these brownies (used Smart Balance spread and whole wheat flour) for times when my "Aunt Flo" visits. I keep them in the freezer and have a small one as needed. Make sure you use sf pudding mix.

Everyone has cravings. Omg I have cravings sometimes and after a while, like Julie said, a TEENY amount isn't going to hurt. BUT, remember, sugar alcohols, and that if you do indulge, choose wisely.
I just love Weigh****chers Sugar Free Fudgesicles, slightly melted in a cup and eat it like a frosty.
And, when I really need to have chocolate, I eat some sugar free chocolate pudding with some graham crackers for extra fiber.
There are tons of things out there today that are low carb and small enough portions would be tolerable. Just again, choose wisely, and don't overdo!
