Help! Priority Health Denial

Thanks for the reply Heather...My BMI is higher, it is almost 60!!!  Gawd I'm embarassed!!!! and some of my Co-morbs are as follows...Sleep Apena, Edema, Narcolopsy..dont know if I have type 2.. my dr just went and sent me for a 2 hour blood test.. (fasting then eat a certain diet and 2 hours later for a draw).. So I know it sounds sick, but I hope to have type 2 so it will be another co-morb...So are you telling me.. that you did not get denied at all... and was accepted with no denial?  That is awesome...I hope I do not get denied... i will just be devistated!!!

I was denied a surgery referral the very first time I tried which was in 05 - but my BMI was 49 and I was told that they didn't look at you unless it was 50.  I then heard from someone else (no idea if it is true) that over 50 with co morbs will almost always be successful. Good luck h

Well I hope that is the case.. If so I will have no worries in getting approved!
