My hubby and I started power walking on Sunday for an hour each time.  I am praying to God that I don't trigger my back spasms.  And let me tell you - I am soooooooooooooo sore.  I am sore everywhere!!!!  Well I kind of look ridiculous when I walk - I really swing my arms to get my heart rate up.  My hubby even told me I look ridiculous - nice.  I just told him that I didn't care and that I was burning more calories than him!    I don't want to start running again because I know for sure that will trigger the spasms.  So please, keep your fingers crossed!  I need to figure out a way to get some exercise without triggering these stupid back spasms!   Take care, Carey

Thanks Jan!  I've got to figure something out.  Tired of being so tired all the time.  I miss my exercising....  Hopefully this will be good. Take care, Carey

Good luck with your walking.  Maybe if power walking causes the spasms, you can find a lap pool somewhere to exercise in.

Thanks Ann!  I am hoping it won't.  I actually do have an inground pool in my yard.  It's just so damaging to my hair - I know...I know.  I'd rather walk and then relax and float around in the pool.  In fact, that's where I wish I were right now!!!   By the way, I left another message for that woman.  She never returned my call???? Take care, Carey

That's a good one Stacey!  I like it!  I think I will.  Today is our 16 yr wedding anniversary.  I will tell him that on our walk tonight.   Thank you, it is always my pleasure.

Hello and welcome, Walking is good. Walking fast is very good. Walking very fast in Pakistan is required. While in Europe I walk slower. I hope you are welcome. Ahmed

Thank you for the welcome!   I know walking is very good.  I used to be the "Treadmill Queen" and run all the time.  Now I'm just going to stick with power walking outside.

My fingers are crossed and secretly laughing at you moving your arms back and forth real fast...do you breath short breaths out too as you walk?  LOL Shannon ( good job on exercising too- if my hubby would ever get out there with me..my dogs go with me)
