Hi Tracey,     Now you and your frame of mind sound like they have gathered together in the right place! I have been exactly where you are. I still have not told many family and friends I even had the surgery. The ones who are understanding and supportive have been few and far between; you mostly recounter the others if you know what I mean. I did not even tell my own mom; she would have freaked out. You do need a few sincere supporters! My husband was even unsure at first. I told my hubby and my doc I did not want to die and let some other woman spend my retirement with my hubby.. LOL> I have went through alot of physicalogical, and physical changes since I made up my mind as well. I have lost 73 lbs to date; 27 before surgery in Feb 07 and the rest after. I had some complications at first; but got past them. I believe this is the best thing I have ever done for myself and my family! My husband now says he feels as if he has gotten his wife back; we do more things together now than we have in years! I would be happy to be your friend and answer your ?'s if I can. Best wishes to a new and great beginning. Sincerely, Judy R
