WOW!!! 4 Years!!!

Hi Linda!  Long time no talk!  How is your daughter?  I hope things are smoothing out for her.

My urologist wants me to drink citrus drinks.  I don't like citrus.  Can't have soda and I don't do just plain water so he said I could drink the wylers or crystal light in my water so that I was at least getting in some liquid.  I tried lemon in my water but just can't get by the taste.  I am just a strange duck.  Whenever a waitress brings me water I tell her I am allergic to it.  They always give me a strange look.  Got to give them something to talk about for the night!  haha

Hey Tami can you handle splenda?   I like to drink this, and it really cools me off, helps with a sore throat or cough too.    In a big glass squeeze a whole lime (sometimes i put lemon with it, i guess you could put any citrus if you want)  Then i put a couple spoons of splenda and crushed ice.   a dash of salt, really just a tiny bit.    fill with water and stir.   you can put as much splenda as you want, depending on how tangy you want it.   OR   get some black cherry kool aid, 1/2  cup of splenda,  and lots of  crushed ice in a blender.....add very little water and make a slush.   Have you tried the walmart brand single serve drink mixes?   The cherry lime one is awesome.    As for my daughter, she's doing fabulous.    After i talked to you i started watching what she was eating and drinking and your info was head on!    Thank you so much......I spent sooooo much money on doctors in the last year and nobody figured it out!    I now jus****ch her diet and keep her up with the benefiber and the pain is non existant...... I am going to try some of your suggestions.  I have not tried the walmart brands.  I can have Splenda in some quanities.  Thanks for the suggestions.

You have done really well even though you have had ups and downs. I think we all have them. I am over 2 years out now and I can see how the ups and down come. But at least we are as close to normal as we can be. I hope that you continue to heal well from the hernia surgery. I hope to see you this summer sometime in my trips up north! Hugs

Girl look at you!!  I have not been on for quite awhile so I had alot of catching up to do.  You could have walked up to me at a show and I would not even have known you!  We will be in Mackinaw for a craft show on June 30 and July 1st.  We are not in Houghton Lake for the 4th.  I think we will be there for Labor Day weekend though.  Don't forget about the big show in West Branch in August.  It is a big craft show!  Take Care!!!!

Thanks for the compliment. I am trying. It has been a rough couple of months. I have gained a couple of pounds and I am trying to get back in line. Back to protein and stuff. I will see if we can make it for the shows this week. Unfortunately I have to work on Saturdays so it limits my time to take the drive up there. I miss it very much!!! I hope to catch you sometime though. I can't wait to see how great you look!
