Saturday Night Fever!

Ok people, I have found the coolest place around!  It is a club in Ferndale off Woodward and 9 mile called Boogie Fever!  My hubby and I went last Saturday to celebrate my 2 year surgiversary (210 lbs I might add!)  And we danced til the club closed!   It was so much fun.  Bring ear plugs and dress cool, cause they don't let just anybody in there.  When we got there, there was a long line and the bouncer pointed at me and let us past everybody else!!!  Talk about a Wow moment!!  I was never picked for anything before.  It was soooooooo cool.  My hubby was afraid to leave me alone for two seconds, cause the "vultures" would circle and start dancing there way to me!! LOL!  I loved the attention, but was glad to be with the best man there.  It is a nice crowd there too.  Mostly between 25 and 40, and they are there for the dancing, 70's and 80's techno dance.  It is probably a good place for singles, but I am not sure on that, but if you love to dance and like 70's and 80's music and want a fun place to spend an evening, I recommend it highly! I also recommend the Holly Hotel for dinner and the comedy show there.  We joined the dining club there, because the food is fantastic and while not always wls friendly, it is out of this world gourmet dining.  And every Friday and Saturday night the 8:30p comedy show is all smoke free.   Wendy

Hey Wendy! I've been there!  For my birthday with  3 girlfirends.  We had a blast.  You're right, it is an older crowd - that was one of the things I liked about it.  And yes, there are definitely vultures there.  I couldn't believe how forward these guys were at this place.  I had one guy come up from behind me touching my lower back all the way up through my hair!!!!!  I turned around and looked at him like who the h_ _ _  are you???????  Very, very forward.  But yes, we had a really good time.  I'd like to go with my husband, he loves to dance.  I'd like to check out the comedy place - my husband and I both love comedy.

That place is so much fun!  Every now and then, my "disco days" friends and I plan a Saturday evening at Boogie Fever.
