Great place for FUN exercise!

Gawd I love Cedar Point!!!  What a wonderful place to get good exercise without even trying.  I wore my pedometer this past weekend and logged about 18,000 steps one day and about 15,000 steps the next day.  That doesn't include the increase in metabolism just from the excitement of it all.  The only challenge is trying to get in enough nutrition.  I bring some baked cheese snacks and some almonds, but have too much fun to take time out to eat at one of the several restaurants that serve healthy foods.  I failed terribly in the nutrition department.  Didn't eat anything "bad", just didn't eat.  I remembered my vitamins, though!  Our next trip is planned for either the first or second week of July, and I can't wait.   I created a previous post about getting a bunch of people from here together to go.   We could have a great time gathering in the Cedar Point campground and having a cookout.  We have an RV we stay in while there.  I'll post more once I know exactly when we will be there.  If any of you have a camper or RV (no tents allowed there), we could all get sites near each other.   The new coaster--Maverick---is awesome!  It is unlike anything else in the park.  The airtime is fantastic.  There are a few rolls that make you feel like you are floating through them---no force into the seat or shoulder harness.  The best part is the tunnel.  The ride slows to about 5 mph and speeds up to 70 mph in a few seconds.  It is non-stop excitement!  The longest we waiting in line was about 50 minutes.

hi mary, i have a travel trailer and have been to ceder point campground with it !!! this will be a good idea, my job we shut down the first two weeks of july, my birthday is the 13th , my girlfreind wants to go camping and take her neice and nephew, i was looking for somewhere to go, this is a good idea, i usually go camping after the 4th july ,because campgrounds are usually booked up, so i know that got to decide real  soon on where to go, maybe the 6th thru 8th july. lets see what can be done , ok  but will have to book real soon, [email protected] above is my e-mail address let me know if you are interested ok?

That sounds like fun,  I am planning on taking a trip to cedar point I can not wait to get on the roller coasters.   Will look forward to the additional information.
