Wow Moment

what if you don't get a lot of views?  what if you get replies?  what then?  :-)

 

Hey Stacey, is it just a setting somewhere or is it the new format that the threads are no longer "threaded" and the replies all show up at the bottom instead of under the post to which they reply????? 

 

btw, you look soooo happy in your new avatar.  it's great.  i like it a lot. 

I think it's a setting OH has done.  The main board is identical. You can see how many people respond, and how many people view. Kind of degrading if you ask me.  So I started a thread about KP and about 41 people viewed it, but no one replied, so I changed the Da*m thing!   -- and now, it's getting replies.  Imagine that! As for the new avatar-   Thanks .....I forgot to wear my contacts but hey, it is 2 days ago pic and I'm healing from the scar revision quite nicely!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I mean the swelling has gone down immensely and I'm feeling good-- now, all I have to do is manage my SLEEPING.  I see some changes in the 'dog ears' being removed but not alot, and in the front, holy crap.  Big difference.  Nice and flat. Matter of fact, I tried on some jeans yesterday, and the 10's I got are a bit loose....after all the swelling goes down, I imagine I'll be in size 8's.  Hugs to you & Mel!!! Stacey

I don't think it's degrading at all. Sometimes people just have nothing to say about something, it isn't personal. Heck sometimes there IS nothing to say, you can read something, agree with it, like it, and just not have anything to add.

And i'm surprised about the dog ears, when i woke up in the hospital, mine were completely gone. My dog is deaf now!

how's everything else? isn't it a cool feeling? i still can't get over mine. i stare at myself in the mirror in awe. no love handles. none. for the first time in my life. no belly even! our surgeons are amazing!!!!

yea i agree....maybe not degrading but sometimes you wonder wtf! I'm so happy with this revision but I am just barely less than 2 weeks out............still changes to come in the healing process. I just adore my surgeon.  Sad thing is- he knows it! LMAO
