A Tiny Wow

I had surgery today on my nasal passages. My ENT had to go into my nose and fix my septum and turbinate. Well the little wow moment for me was when I was being wheeled back into the room and the nurses were talking and I heard one say that "she is a very healthy patient". What me?!?!?! Healthy?!?!?! It was an amazing feeling to hear that I was so thrilled.  I did get out of the surgery with flying colors I am just home recouping now. This might help me lose a couple of pounds that I needed since nothing tastes that well to me. hehe I have to breathe through my mouth until Friday.  Thanks to Kim on here for setting me up with such a great Dr, and for doing my little dirty work today, and thanks to Stacey, Denny, and Paul for wishing me well. Hey I want to see some pictures of that wedding of yours. You need to post some on your profile so we can see how good you looked.  We are going to Vegas in August with Kim and her DB. I am anxious because this time we will get to see the Grand Canyon and we will be there for a week. Did you really enjoy yourself there? Anything special I should see? I was there a couple of years ago but only for 2 days. 

Sorry to hijack Suzanne's post...... Yes, I did get married over Memorial Day weekend in Vegas.  We were only there Friday and Saturday night, then left really early Sunday morn.  We didn't have time for much after the marriage license and wedding.  All we did was gamble, swim, eat, and walk.  We stayed at the Flamingo, which was expensive but nice.  Oh yeah, there are NO pictures because the junky little chapel we went to wouldn't let us bring in our own camera and the photographer didn't show up.  So we have one picture that's out of focus of us by a fountain that some Japanese girls took.   The inlaws are throwing us a backyard party in two weeks, so we're going to fake it and take pictures there.  Hopefully I can post those.   You'll have a good time, especially if you're going to stay for a week.

Honey you are not hijacking my post. I could careless. I just wanted to know how the wedding was. I kept meaning to send you a PM to ask. Just got so busy with this sinus stuff this week and forgot. That is a bummer about the pictures but you know the reception pics might turn out better anyways since you will be outside and can pose near trees and things. Out of my wedding pics I really adore this one that is next to a tree. I am sure I will have a good time. Just hope that the heat is not crazy when we are there. LOL

Hi Suzanne, I didn't know you were having surgery. I'm glad everything went well for you. HEALTHY~isn't it amazing. I was thinking about that today as I was out walking my 5 miles. Pre-op I couldn't walk 3 feet without having to stop and catch my breath, now I just breeze along like it's nothing. I love being healthy.  I'm so glad thet you are healthy and doing well.
