A week and a half and still no surgery date

I was finally accepted by my insurance for surgery a week and a half ago and Hurley Bariatric Clinic called and said someone would be callling this week to schedule my surgery. I was so excited, I went around the house with the phone attached to me all week waiting and waiting. No one called so I called today and the girl is gone and won't be bac****il Monday. Of course, only one girl can schedule surgery, no one else can?  What is going on.  You would think that they would want to schedule people for surgery.  I have waited a year and I am tired of waiting.   Don't tell me to be patient-I have been.  I am tired of poor customer service and uncaring people.  These people most know how much this means to us. Hang in there it took me over two weeks to hear but it happens. Keep bugging them! I did. I just got home yesterday from Ypsi and the whole experiance was wonderful! Better then I could have imagined. Not in pain at all only sore. Be tough! My insurance was apprioved in march and had surgery in June!                                                                                    Hugs, Suzie

Hi Cattycontessa,       It will all happen before you know it! I also had my surgery with Hurley. Just keeping calling your insurance company to keep them on top of it! And with Hurley you will get far with a kind and concerned voice.. I know what it is like to feel that anxious waiting peroid. You will be over that hump before you know it.
