Pick Yourself Up, Dust Yourself Off...
Jenn -
Keep your chin up, and keep working at it!! You're doing a phenomenal job with your WLS, and maybe the rollercoaster incident can just serve as a reminder of why to work your program each day.
When I was about 7 weeks post-op to flew to Houston for a conference. For the first time EVER I had to ask for a seatbelt extender. I was SO HUMILIATED!! Previously I had always managed to squeeze myself in, but there was no way that was going to happen this time. I just reminded myself that I would never have to do this again, just hang in there and follow the program!
Keep up the great work Jenn!

Jenn, you have come so far and I'm so proud of you. It's so nice to make goals for ourselves and it's great when we reach them. Some of them are easy, some are not and those seem to be the ones that give us so much joy when we surpass that goal. I'm glad you're not dwelling on what you couldn't accomplish that day and turned it into a wonderful time with your daughter and going down the water slide. This is something I could not do because I'm afraid of heights but I applaud you for tackling that goal. It won't be much longer until you're able to get in that roller coaster with room to spare. That's another one I can't do but I do make other goals and I work hard to reach them. Keep up the good work and never dwell on what you can't do but do celebrate all those goals you've reached and keep setting that goal post higher.
