after work i dragged myself to the gym and swam laps for an hour and twenty minutes... then i went and relaxed in the hot tub for 25 minutes, then got back in the pool and swam laps for another 20 minutes... swimming laps is the only exercise i seem to be able to trick myself into doing (at least for now) but i feel awesome for having done it... now i just have to see about dragging myself to the gym on a regular basis...

That's great, laps are what I started to do last summer.  Now I'm doing water aerobics. Jeanne

That is fantastic! Exercise is the secret to lasting sucess. You may be able to take the weight off without exercise but you won't keep it off without it. You should be proud. Just keep pushing yourself. You will thank yourself later for it. You will do great I am sure.---Toni

Way to go!    Yes, here is your pat on the back. It gets easier every time; and soon you will be amazed your looking forward to it. Then you will think WHO ME! ROTFLO.. It gets to be a true priority, as it should be.. Swimming burns 500 cal an hour I read somewhere. That is a lot of calories no matter how we count them.. Best Wishes, Judy R

Here's a high five!!!!  Keep up the exercise and after surgery, each exercise will get easier.
