I got a surgery date!

I finally got a surgery date!  I go in July 30th.  I am not going to have my original surgeon, Dr. Obeid though.  I could wait  and see when he will be coming back to work but my husband has a flexible schedule in the summer, so I want to have my surgery as soon as possible.  I am going to have Dr. Wagner do my surgery.  Anyone have him do their surgery?  Also, what sorts of things should I do to get ready for the surgery? I'm having an open RNY  I know this sounds morbid, but I want to write a will out.  Anything else? CONGRATS ON GETTING YOUR DATE!!!! I AM SURE THAT YOUR DR WILL BE TELLING YOU THE THINGS YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE SURGERY...EACH DR IS DIFFERENT.....BUT I CAN SUGGEST THAT YOU TAKE CHAP STICK FOR AFTER YOU COME OUT OF SURGERY :)

WTG on getting a date......I am sure you will get info on what to do pre surgery and post surgery.  When ya think about making out a will....it is not pleasant....but something ya gotta do :shrug:
