Went for consultation with Dr.Schram

My appointment was lastnight at 5:00, I am so excited!!! He said I was healthy and that he would not  require me to get any  pre testing done, other then blood. Right now, they are schudeling his patients for July, I'm praying for August!!!

Hi,  I'm new to this, I have just been reading mostly.  I'm scheduled with Dr. Schram for July 2007. I'm looking for feedback from older patients, I'm 59.  I wonder if it is more difficult to go thru the process because of being older? Any comments are welcomed.

You will be happy with Dr. Schram. I was at Barix yesterday afternoon as well for a post-op visit. We may have even seen each other. Listen to what Dr. Schram has to say, and follow what he has to say, and you will be on the losing side very soon. C

Well let me tell you what we look like and tell me if you seen us...I'm short and fat , I had on light blue capri and a darker blue shirt, with flip flops. My husband, tall and thin, but not to thin, he had on jeans, and a white shirt.  We got ther at about 4:15, and they were great getting us back right at 5:00 for the consultation. We were done by 7:00, we had 13 people in our group. My nurse said that they almost never have all the people show up, guess we are group who want change!

Well I dont remember seeing you and your husband. As I was walking out, there were a lot of people at the receptionist, so I just left without getting my next appointment. If my memory doesnt fail me, I left around 4:15 or 4:30pm.. Good luck

In about 26 days Dr. Schram will be doing my RNY... I'm just about a week and a half away from my pre-admission testing. I'm thrilled to bits with Dr. Schram. Totally confident in his abilities... just can't wait to be on the other side of surgery...

Tracey, I just wanted to say Congrats on having a good consultation!  It feels great to be moving in the right direction, doesn't it?  Of course, I'm a bit impatient myself.  It just can't go quick enough. Kathy
