OT: Late 5 for Friday!

Happy Friday everyone!  In an effort to get to know each other a little better, here's some random questions.  Have a great weekend! 1.  Tell us what you like to do in your spare time- 2.  If you could tell your kids one thing that you have learned about life (and they would have to actually listen) what would it be?  (If you don't have kids, then substitue someone from a younger generation) 3.  Favorite thing to do on a warm summer night? 4.  Assume you have a Secret Pal....what one gift would you LOVE to receive? 5.  Do you believe in a higher power?  (get as detailed as you wish with this answer)

1.  Tell us what you like to do in your spare time- I don't have a lot of it but I play with the kids, watch the Tigers, shop and watch TV. 2.  If you could tell your kids one thing that you have learned about life (and they would have to actually listen) what would it be?  (If you don't have kids, then substitue someone from a younger generation) Money is more important that you think.  You really do need a good amount of it to do the things you want to do in life. 3.  Favorite thing to do on a warm summer night? Sit and watch a baseball game....either my son's or the Tigers 4.  Assume you have a Secret Pal....what one gift would you LOVE to receive? Anything pink and girly that I wouldn't normally buy for myself. 5.  Do you believe in a higher power?  (get as detailed as you wish with this answer) Yep, I believe in God.

Hi Brenda!!!    Thanks for doing this!  I've missed them! 1.  Tell us what you like to do in your spare time- Take English horse riding lessons, ride horses, groom horses, play with horses, care for horses! Also I am into html coding and often create websites and images for people to use on their profiles, and do profiles for people!

2.  If you could tell your kids one thing that you have learned about life (and they would have to actually listen) what would it be?  (If you don't have kids, then substitue someone from a younger generation) To go for your dreams and NEVER SETTLE!

3.  Favorite thing to do on a warm summer night? Sit by the lake and watch the sun set OR take Junior (AQH) for a walk out in the pasture

4.  Assume you have a Secret Pal....what one gift would you LOVE to receive?   A date with Dermot Mulroney 

5.  Do you believe in a higher power?  (get as detailed as you wish with this answer) If my memory serves me correctly, Boston (classic rock) did a song titled "Higher Power".  In it, it contains the serenity prayer.  I find that interesting.   This is a topic better left on the back porch because I don't like to discuss them! Good to hear from you- hope you are doing well!

Walk on the beach of Lake Michigan. 4.  Assume you have a Secret Pal....what one gift would you LOVE to receive? A pedicure 5.  Do you believe in a higher power?  (get as detailed as you wish with this answer)  I believe in a higher power, however I do not believe the only way to worship is by giving money to a church.  Great questions!

1. I love to garden, scrapbook, read, watch hockey, ride my bike, visit with friends, play with my kitties, and just in general relax.  2. Always be yourself and speak your mind and feelings. 3. I love to sit on my porch or play in the garden. 4. hmm that is for me to know and you to find out. 5. I am catholic nough said!

1. Tell us what you like to do in your spare time-  Tell me what is spare time is again. LOL I like to spend the little bit of spare time I have with my grand kids just kind of hanging out. 2. If you could tell your kids one thing that you have learned about life (and they would have to actually listen) what would it be? (If you don't have kids, then substitute someone from a younger generation) The most important thing in life is to serve God first with all your heart, love your Family like there is no tomorrow. Show kindness to everyone because with what merit you judge, you will also be judged. 3. Favorite thing to do on a warm summer night? Catch lightening bugs with my grandson, look at the stars and find the different constellations, relax around the bonfire, go for a walk through the neighborhood, play hide n' go seek or tag with my family just to name a few :0) 4. Assume you have a Secret Pal....what one gift would you LOVE to receive? It really wouldn't matter; a short e-mail saying hi that he/she was thinking about me would be nice. 5. Do you believe in a higher power? (get as detailed as you wish with this answer) Not to cause controversary, but I think most of the people here know that I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that God created the Heavens and the Earth, formed man from the dust of the Earth and breathed into him the breath of life. That Jesus Christ is the one and only son of the true and living God, and was sent to Earth to save the people from Hell and eternal damnation.  That the only way to Heaven is to believe in your heart and confess with your tongue that Jesus Christ is Lord, and ask Him to forgive you for the wrong things you have done in your lifetime, and to invite Him to live in your heart. I also believe that our eyes and spirit are closed to knowing the truth until we seek God, and He reveals himself to us. When I say God bless you, I mean it, even if the person I say it to doesn't believe in God, because some day, every knee will bow down and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
