HELP!!!!

PLEASE, Does anyone know of any hospitals/surgeons in Michigan that take Medicaid, Midwest health plan is type I have. Barix website listed MHP as one they accept but when I called to set up a consult the operator told me they DID NOT, WOULD NOT accept my insurance.  I need to have LAPBAND Soon, my specialist are all pushing it, I am very ill with autoimmune illness(es)  that have caused more weight gain which in turn have made me more ill and have more weight related health problems. My primary doc own words" I don't mean to sound dramatic but it is a matter of life and death" supplements and nutrition program have had little impact my 'break though' has been last 2 months and only lost 5lbs? Have you tried Hurley Medical Center, in Flint? They have a the weight loss center and I recommend them highly.
