post TT swelling

I am in touch with the gaining weight thing. I am still up about 10 pounds since the TT. I am trying to be patient and deal with it all. The numbness is also there.  I know it will be worth it in the long run.

Hi Michelle, I'm just over 3wks from my TT too. Don't know what I was thinking when I scheduled it 7weeks before my sons wedding. So much for the dress I had planned to wear!! Swelling is my only complaint too. I notice it more on days when I'm on my feet a lot.  Still wearing my garment (gotta love it in this heat ehy?) but it does do a good job for the most part.  Looked at my pre op pictures last night and am so glad I took them, cause no matter how long this takes it's going to be worth it. Five kidlings and 124lbs really did a number on me. ...Guess we just have to hang in there like everybody says. Best wishes to you. Denise

Denise, With 4 more weeks you may have a chance.  My mornings start great, binder on and then by 4pm I am sore and swollen. The numbness is there as well all day. I am with you on being worth it. I have 6 kids and have lost 160 since my gastric bypass. But I am not a patient person so this waiting thing is hard. Good Luck to you as well.  Michelle
