Introducing myself

Hi!   I'm brand new around here (kind of).  I have been reading the boards for about 8 months, but never registered because I really wasn't sure what I wanted to do about having surgery.  Reading the boards have been a tremendous help for me because it's pointed me in a good direction to get the answers I needed.  However, I feel like I'm getting closer to making a decision and thought this was a good time to jump in.  I think I need to put a voice to my thoughts rather than just read.   Since I live in Michigan, I decided to put my introduction here. Hi Marsha, welcome to the board.  Be sure and ask lots of questions because it's a whole lot easier when you make an informed opinion.  You have people on here from pre-surgery to a lot of years out so there's a lot of experience.  FWIW, take what you need and leave the rest.

Hi Marsha, I was the same as you. I feel as if I couldn't have made a better choice. 3 mo. later and 80 LBS gone I have my health and my life back. Good luck to you, Dorean
