Had court today for my fosterson, it went really bad. long story short, after him being  here 4 years, we are losing him...All I want to do is eat, with not having WLS as of yet, it is really easy to feed my emotions...

I can certainly understand but that won't help. It will hurt in the long run. Don't do it. Substitute eat with a physical activity - walk. Do yourself a favor and stay on track. Eating won't help. kp

Oh, Tracey, that really sucks!  I wish I had some great words of wisdom for you about not eating, but I fear that I would have a rough time too. Huge hugs, Jenn

Dont eat .......cry, rage and scream.  Reflect on all that you have given him and know that in the last 4 yrs you have shown him the way it should be.....could be .....and hope that his parent has learned something to....let us all hope.......

Thanks guys! After eating a handful of cheese puffs (that I don't even like) I decided me getting fatter was NOT going to make losing him any easier. I went outside sat in my rocker watched the birds at the feeder and cried my eyes out... Probably should of went for a walk, but no so sure I could have seen through the tears. I held it together until the kids were in bed, after that, I lost it...

Tracey, I'm so sorry.  I know that this will take a big chunk out of your heart but I hope he's going where he'll be loved permanently.  Take some long walks, write him a long letter telling him how much you love him (give it to him as he leaves or keep his address and send it to him when he's older), go to a nursing home and sit and talk with some people who would be truly happy to see you.  Do any or all of these things instead of eating and you'll feel a whole lot better.
