So far everyone is saying to mix it with a little cold water first, then add it slowly to the hot stuff. So maybe try it again that way. I haven't tried it yet, but they is what I have heard several times now.

Good luck

I know alot of the protein drinks I have tried and the one I use faithfully, can't be hot.....like under 110 degrees I thin..or might even be 102 degrees.

I bought unflavored soy protien, too. I thought this might be a good idea since most of the protein drinks are sweet and I get really tired of sweet.  Soy has a beany flavor and worked best for me in Soups. It is hard to mix in, but I usually mixed it before I heated it. it does froth up in the blender, but sometimes this works best. I sometimes put it with ho****er and soup base in the blender and this seems to work OK.

Sherry, I have a TON of leftover soy powder that I bought pre-surgery.  To me, it tastes like grass or plants or something else really gross.  I just couldn't handle it.  I threw it in a blender and tried to make protein smoothies, and it foamed up.  I tried to put it in my cocoa, and it clumped.  Needless to say, it's sitting here in my pantry still, and I'm over 1 year post op. My advice to you is if you don't like it, take it to your support group meeting.  Maybe someone else will like it. Also, I told you about mixing the AnyWhey into the sf cocoa.....but it does take me almost 10 minutes to stir it all up and break up the clumps.  It's work, but it's worth it to me because I hate protein drinks.  At night, I just mix the AnyWhey with sf yogurt and gulp it down, clumps and all.   Oh!  While I'm thinking of it, I wanted to give you this recipe...it's one I've used when nothing else sounds good to me.  Of course you know that you can't have it every day, but once in a while is just fine. Protein Pancakes (Makes 12-15 small pancakes) 1/2 cup 100% whole wheat flour 1 cup cottage cheese 4 eggs (I used Egg Beaters) 1/2 cup canola oil 1 T baking powder 1 T vanilla Put all ingredients in blender and blend well. Preheat griddle. When griddle is hot, pour out pancakes on to hot griddle, spacing them well so they don't spread into each other. These take considerably longer to cook than regular pancakes, about 5 minutes on the first side before you turn them. You will not see as many bubbles on top as with regular pancakes, so be prepared to experiment with one to see how long to cook them before turning. I cooked mine about 8-9 minutes total. Serve hot with sugar free maple syrup or a bit of fruit on top.
