OT - Any Jackson, MI People Around??

After some consideration, I may be moving to Jackson.  If anyone could tell me about the town, life and anything else, please let me know.  I'm trying to get some information on my own, but I'd like to hear from someone who has lived (or visited often) in the area.

Rhonda- l  live about 2 miles from Jackson.  Do you have a job lined up or looking for a house or apt? I love this area- lots of lakes and pretty quiet.  You can email me privately with any more questions :) Shannon
