HAS ANY ONE HAD THIS PROBLEM? THE LAST COUPLE MTHS EVERY LITTLE SCRATCH HAS BLED ALOT LONGER AND THEN TURNED BLACK N BLUE. TODAY I HAD AT LEAST 7 TUBES OF BLOOD DRAWN FOR MY  7/2 6 MTH CHECKUP, AND MAN DID I EVER TURNDED BLACK N BLUE AND TOOK A LITTLE WHILE TO STOP BLEEDING. CAN ANY ON E PLZ GIVE ANY FEEDBACK ON THIS I AM WORRIED !!! WHAT IS MY SYSTEM LACKING? PLZ RESPOND, I WANT TO MAKE SURE I TELL THE DR. MY/ YOUR CONCERNS,  MY SISTER HAD SOME OF THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH ANEMIA AND I CAN'T DEAL WITH THIS !!

I think you will get the best answers at that checkup, but you could call the doctor's office and ask if there is anything that should be addressed right away.  Be sure to take a list of all meds, prescription and otherwise to the appointment and include the vitamins, supplements and any herbals (pills or teas) you use.

If you are diagnosed with anemia, ask about taking Hema-Plex.  I use it with no constipation or stomach upset and it has brought my iron up nicely.  You can search it online to get the nutritional information.

If they drew 7 tubes, they are doing a very complete panel.  Please don't panic before you see the doctor!  And, the next time you have blood drawn, keep the elbow at or above heart level for at least 20 minutes and don't carry anything in that hand for a half hour or so.  A phlebotomist told me this and I have found it to be effective in not bruising.

Rebecca,       As Just Jane, says don't worry too much until you see the results of the blood tests.  The things to look would be the hemoglobin and platelets on the CBC, the iron and ferritin levels.  I'm sure that they did these.
