I Have a DATE!!

Well I have been here lurking for sometime, and now I post.

My date is July 12, and I am excited to get on the loosers bench. My surgery is on a Thursday, and since I don't really know what to expect I was wondering about how long I would be out of work?

 

 

CONGRATS ON YOUR GETTING A DATE!!! YOU WILL BE IN GOOD HANDS AT MMPC....AS FOR HOW LONG YOU WILL BE OFF WORK...ARE YOU HAVING IT DONE LAP? IF SO I WOULD SAY IN A COUPLE WEEKS TOPS. I WAS READY TO GO BACK TO WORK SOON AS THE GAS WAS ALL OUT OF ME....BUT I WAS OFF UNTIL I WENT FOR MY FIRST CHECK UP AND THEN WE HAD A DEATH IN THE FAMILY SO IT WAS THREE WEEKS I WAS OFF. BUT I WAS READY BEFORE MY 2 WEEK CHECK UP TO GO BACK. YOU SHOULD KNOW WHEN YOU GO FOR YOUR LAST APPOINTMENT BEFORE SURGERY HOW LONG YOU WILL BE OFF.

GOOD LUCK AND WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS FOR A SAFE SURGERY AND SPEEDY RECOVERY!!

Congrats on the date!!!  Of course everyone is different...but they say 4 to 6 weeks. But depends on your recovery. I felt good enough to go back in 2 weeks, but I took the 5 weeks. Its good to get into routine of getting water , protein and excercise in. Also depends on what kind of job you do. I have a desk job.  Good Luck
