Mark Pleatman MD

Hello, It looks like I am going to end up self-pay if I want this surgery.  Anyone have any experience with Dr. Mark Pleatman of Bloomfield Hills, MI.?   He offers a gastric sleeve package for $11,000.  I think this is reasonable (very) and I don't want to leave the country, nor do I want to pay $20,000.   thanks deb also any info on gastric sleeve.  Anything I should ask/know?  thanks

I had my RNY done by Dr. Pleatman.  I am very, very happy I selected him as my surgeon.  One of the best aspects of Dr. Pleatman (aside from his expert surgery skills) is his friendly, personalized followup and staff.  Dr. Pleatman is very accessible and will always take the time to answer any questions you have.  I've had questions several times and emailed him and he responded very quickly.  Dr. Pleatman's wife is the office manager and she conducts and organizes the support group meetings.  Its a small staff that is very personable and accessible---kinda like a small family.  You will be able to get an appointment for surgery relatively quickly too.  You won't go wrong with Dr. Pleatman!

I hsvr s question about gastric sleeve....   what do they do if you ever have anything bad happen and need a reversal...like some type of cancer. I know with rouen y they can re-verse what do they do if they have removed all of the stomach ?
