OT: Motherhood
Don't know who originally said this one but I heard it tonight and thought I would share so that all could ponder it's meaning:
"Once you become a mom you stop being a picture.... and become the frame."
To me it speaks volumes mainly about how as a mom you hold the world together for your kids.
What are your thoughts on this?

Tracy,
First of all I want to congratulate you on being a grandmother! I saw the post last week but did not get a chance to reply. Did you ever think you could love another child as much as your own? My grand kids have been the souce of so much joy over the last 4 years.
I had heard that quote before and wondered how it fit to my relationship with my children. Lately I see that even though they go off on thier own and possibly stray for a while they do come back and show you that you have a huge influence on thier lives. The frame to me is the structure around all that we try to teach our kids, how to be a responsible, worthwhile, respectful, human beings that could make a difference in the world. Then you let them go and pray that they have absorbed all of it.
I think mine have got it so far (they are all adults now) and I thank God for it.
Michelle
