I do adult centrium chewables from Walmart! Not to bad, and better than taking lot of kids vitamins. My doc says they are very good and just what I need! Good luck.. Judy R

I do the centrum orange chewables too. They are pretty decent and my surgeon recommended them. He absolutely told me to not use the childrens vitamin. Have you tried calling your NUT also to ask for other recommendations. I asked my Dr directly about what else he recommended to. But I have a close relationship with my Dr unlike others so it might not be as easy to get in touch with your Dr.

Hi, I was at a nut class today at Hurley.  She said take an adult chewable like Centrum or a store brand that compares the same as centrum.  Children's vitamins are made for kids and their Daily Recommended Allowances which are not the same as an adult.  You should always check with your nut to see what they recommend.  I did see today that Centrum makes a liquid too - but really don't know much about that.   By the way - you WOULD make it on survivor!!!! I use the children's COMPLETE from Walmart.  They aren't bad and less expensive.  My NUT told me to use the children's complete formula, with a sublingual B-12, because of the Iron in them.  I was taking 2 a day but the iron was a bit low so she told me to add one more daily.  So far, all my labs are good.   Children's vitamins are formulated for children to take ONE a day...NUT's recommend them for us bypasser's because we take 2 or 3 of them, spaced out throughout the day.   The vitamins are in low enough doses (for what adults need) that we can absorb them all at once.  The adult formulas sometimes have more that we can absorb at one time.  I am happy with the Wal-Mart brand..."Equate"  in animal shapes.
