June 19 Lap/Hurley
I had my lap at Sparrow Hospital in Lansng on the 19th, and feel great. I took a walk tonight, not as far as last evening...that was just a bit to far and had some pain on the way home. The biggest thing is now adding to the list of what we can eat. I just went to the clinic and class tonight and was able to get infor from the nutritionist...so it's a process to adjust to.

I started out with the clear liquds, went to the full liquids, and now into pureed foods... Still trying to get in the 70 grams of protein a day. The protein whey powder helps tremendously..it has 23 grams in each serving and with the milk adding the 8 grams...that is 31. I did have my first scrambled egg today and later some tuna on saltines...both tasted great. I have to admit the pureed thought of chicken or pork just is not sounding apetitizing..so that won't be for a while. I did have a opti-fast bar this afternoon...did your program use this product? What are you eating?
