Anyone have Priority Health Medicaid?

Hi, My name is Mitzi, and I am new to OH. I am at the beginning of my journey with WLS and I am curious if anyone has had Priority Health Medicaid. Wondering  if it was difficult to get approved and how many co-morbid conditions are required to qualify for the surgery. I have asthma, and I think that is one co-morbid but I am not sure.  Also wondering if they require the 6 month program before approval. Sorry, I know that is a lot of questions I appreciate any information. Thank You

I wanted to say, that I dont have this insurance, but my son has it, and is going thru the process (he's only 18) but has battled obesity since 4 years old, long story there, he was on Oprah too, before and lost 90 lbs when he was just going thru puberty, but anyhow, he's large once again. and he has this insurance. I believe he has to have documented at least 6 mo. of dr supervised, once a month weigh ins with out missing any appt with his prmary care physician. I do hope, he can battle it successfully at his young age, but we know genetics plays such a role, as does environment in this battle,, anyhow, I have medicaid/medicare and Have been approved. I was never going to do this surgery myself, but after battling the last 6 years, and I tried the weight managment thru  another health facility linked to my surgeon/ referrals from there, and I got down the exercise, but not weight loss but 6 lbs. ugh! 6 months. so I satisfied my own insurance requirements. Have you asked your surgeons office if they told you what your requirements are for this type of insurance? hth, I know I am not real helpful, just thought I would share though, what I DO know..
