LONG OVERDUE UPDATE

It has to be at least 3 months since I have been on the boards, looked at them or for that matter had the time to think about email!!  About the end of March I interviewed for a new position with a national company and thought I did not get the job because I didn't hear anything from them for so long, they kept saying they would let me know SOMETHING when they had a launch date!   Well, to give everyone the Reader Digest version of the story.  I got the job along with the offer for two others all on the same day.  It has been a challenge to say the least  learning all these new computer applications, corporate policies, and working anywhere for 40 to 60 hours a week compared with my old job part time hours of only 24 hours a week,  but the travel has been great, I have met some wonderful people, and I feel much more stable with my employment now.  It is great how losing weight will give you the self confidence that you thought you never lacked previously but truly did.  I find I am so much more confident in my public speaking, people will listen to me, and I don't feel like they are staring at my obese body instead.  I know I was stuck where I was for a reason, it was my time to heal, and now it is my time to shine and I am loving it.  Each of us need to take a look at why we lost weight and re-examine our careers to see if we are still sitting back and working in our former "obese job".  I know I was, my new job requires alot more from me, I love it, challenges in life are good. Much love to all of you, its time for me to pack my bags again and go see another part of the USA. Jill I have missed your posts. It is nice to know you are still around and doing so well. It will be so cool to travel and see things that you might never have seen otherwise. Congrats on the new job. I hope everything else is going well. Keep me posted. Suzanne

You look great Suzanne!   Yeah I am still around!!!   The only thing is I check my email once a week now instead of everyday, I see friends once a month now instead of every weekend, and I really am enjoying life alot more, it is fun to be so busy!  I put in over 60 hours last week and over 50 this week at my job, I am loving having the energy to keep up this pace!!!! Wonderful to hear from you!  I am STILL going through my divorce, however, I am on pretty good terms with my soon to be ex, we are going to his nieces wedding together tomorrow!!!!  We shall see how his family treats me, I hold no ill will against them, I don't burn bridges, you never know when you might need to cross one and they might be the one standing on the other side : )   But like I said we shall see how they treat me, I suppose they will react only on what they have been told.  Wish me luck on this one!!!  Good to hear from you!  Congrats on your marriage.   Jill

Congradulations Jill on your new position,  I did the same thing I took a new job also that is going to challenge me also,  I am following my dreams and I am going to make it into surgery.  I am glad to see that you are going great .  Hugs Tricia

Tricia, It is wonderful when all of our dreams do come together : )    I have always instilled in my children to follow their dreams now I am practicing what I preached for so many years. Jill
