I have my date!!!!!!!!!!

I have my date for surgery!!!  It is August 28th.  I was hoping for sooner but my surgeon has vacation in July.  I know he works hard and deserves it.  I did ask my daughter to please not to deliver my first grandchild early.  She is due on Sept 12th and I want to be there for her! I am really excited to start my new life!  I know the time will fly by- summers always do- but it looks so far away on the calander.  Next step is the pre-surgery testing, and to see the NUT.  I am so anxious- like a kid saying "are we there yet?"   Anne

Thanks everyone for your well wishes.  I have several tasks I want to complete before the surgery.  I'm sure the time will just fly by!!!

Congrats on your Surgery, and the Grandbaby.  My second one is due on Oct. 1, and I can't wait (well I could wait 2 more days as the 3rd. is my b-day :)

Congrats to you! Both the surgery and a new grandchild! I too am having surgery performed by Dr.Farhan on the 21st of August, I found out about it mid June. This wait is excruciating, but I will survive it. Good luck to you!

Let me know how you are doing!  It's nice to hear from someone else with the same Dr.  I have a friend who had surgery with Dr Farhan 18 months ago and is doing wonderful!!  It feels like the end of August will never get here.  When do you have your pre surgery testing?  Keep my posted and good luck!!!
