I posted pics in my profile. I went out on Saturday and got a couple of Tattoos on my feet. I definately would have never thought of getting one when I was Fat! I would have never been able to sit in the chair let alone let someone touch my feet like that. It was exhilirating.

Whoohooo!! You go Girl! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just be careful... once you get inked you discover it can be addicting *ask me how I know...LOL*

I only have one so far.. but I am already planning the design for my next one.. which will be done shortly after I've finished shrinking...the others I have planned will wait till I have this newer design inked... A series of Cocoons with my biggest weight under the first (biggest and ugliest one) and each cocoon getting succesively smaller then a huge and VERY Vibrantly colorful butterfly Bursting out of the last one and my weight at that time under the butterfly... commerating my journey...where am I going to put it... why on my belly of course!....LOL I'm a keloid healer so I know I will have scaring so the tatt's of the cocoons will be a great way of hiding them.

Enjoy them everytime you look at them Use them as a reminder of what you have accomplished and you will have that "exhilarating" feeling everytime you look at them.

It was really cool to be able to sit there and have no quarms about being in the chair with the tattoo artist working on me. After looking at the pics I notice how much more confident I am in myself to have sat there with my leg up and showing skin like that.

Actually the shamrock one only hurt when he got close to one of my bones. Other than that it hurt to have shoes on for about 24 hours. I could not even wear my slippers in the house. (I am glad I got it done on a weekend) I had minimal bleeding as well. He did an awesome job. He said he will see me back for more. LOL I don't know about that but we will see!! The little chicks feet did not hurt at all. I will definately wear sandals on Friday so you can check them out!

I love the Chicks sooooo much it is insane. I tell my DH that I love them more than him! Even on a good day! My favorite song is Wide Open Spaces. It was my jam in college. What concerts did you go to? I went to the one at the Palace in 2003 and Joe Louis last year. I was telling a friend of mine last night that it is amazing to be able to tell the difference in both of the experiences because in 2003 I was fat and could not sing along to all the songs and dance because I was so heavy. But last year let me tell you, I wore my voice out singing as loud as I could to every song and dancing my little heart out!!! I hope that someday I could meet one of the Chicks to tell them how their music has been such an influence on my life during the down times.
